This notice explains how Devfabric Base (“we”) handles personal data when you visit devfabricbase.digital, contact us, or book a briefing.

Data we collect

  • Contact and booking data — name, email, phone if provided, preferred dates, watchlist notes you choose to send, and message content.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and basic device information when essential for delivering the site; analytics data only if you accept optional cookies.
  • Billing data — invoice details and payment references for paid engagements (processed via our banking providers).

We do not ask for account passwords, card numbers through this website, or special-category data for ordinary bookings.

Purposes and lawful bases

  • Responding to enquiries and delivering briefings — contract / steps prior to contract.
  • Operating and securing the website — legitimate interests.
  • Optional analytics — consent (cookie banner).
  • Meeting legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.

Retention

Enquiry emails without a booking are kept up to 18 months. Booking and invoice records are retained for six years to meet accounting requirements. Analytics data (if enabled) is retained according to the tool’s settings, typically 14 months or less.

Sharing

We use email hosting, document storage, and (where applicable) video-meeting providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

International transfers

Some processors may store data outside the UK. Where that occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
