Briefings

How sessions work

From watchlist to written summary — what to prepare, how a briefing unfolds, and when Manchester versus video makes sense.

Before you book

Decide whether you need a single Options Flow Briefing, a review of one position, or coverage across an expiry week. Have a shortlist ready — tickers, markets (UK, US, or both), and any hard constraints such as “no advice on sizing, context only.”

Preparation window

Once a slot is confirmed and the deposit received, send your watchlist at least 24 hours ahead (48 hours for Expiry Week Watch). We prepare overnight prints, open-interest changes, and a rough session agenda. Late additions may be noted verbally but will not always make the written summary.

On the day

  • In person — Arrive at Level 10, 29 King Street, Manchester M2 7LE ten minutes early. Bring nothing proprietary you cannot discuss aloud; we work from listed market data.
  • Video — Link issued the afternoon before. Screenshare is optional; most clients prefer to keep their own blotter private and talk from notes.

Sessions open with any overnight index context, then move ticker by ticker. You are encouraged to disagree — the point is to pressure-test the read, not to accept it politely.

After the call

A written summary follows within two hours for standard briefings, or by the next morning for late US-session work. Corrections or clarifications within 48 hours are included; a fresh watchlist means a new booking.
